Philosophy

The Centre For Continuing Education provides training at convinience through a combination of residential and distance learning in the following programmes:

Diploma in Christian Ministries: School Chaplaincy
Diploma in Christian Ministries and Civic Responsibilities (DCMCR)
Diploma in Children and Family Ministry (DCFM)

Certificate in Christian Religiuos Studies (CCRS)

 

Highlights

  • We train teachers to be chaplains in schools through some form of distance learning.
  • Our chaplaincy programme trains teachers in pastoral care, discipleship and evangelism to children and youth.
  • Those training need not leave their work stations.
  • We equip Christians with civic and religious understanding from a Christian mission perspective.
  • We train Christians to become effective agents of transformation in their communities.
  • We are pioneering the training of Sunday School teachers and youth pastors in the region.
  • We are preparing the e-learning programme to enhance our programmes particularly to those students who can access internet services
  • Our programmes are fully approved by St. Paul's University.
  • We have a qualified and international team of staff.
