FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK: A New Dawn

Carlile College; May 2017.

Greetings from Carlile College - Church Army Africa.

The Lord has been gracious and faithful to us since we began the year 2017. At Carlile College we had our first trimester between January and March and in April our students in both schools; School of Mission (SOM) and Church Army Bussiness School (CABS) went on recess.

In the early month of May, Our students reported back and classes are on untill early august when they will be clossing for august holiday.

At the School of Mission our students and staff have been involved in mission outreach in the following areas;

Activity Dates Outcome/comments
Mission in Christ the King Ngando 28th-30th October 2016 Successful. Many people came to know the church and joined. 35 Souls came to the lord and 7 joined the church until now.
Educational Conference (ASET) 3rd - 4th March The students attended the conference on Governance and Education. Organized by African Society of Evangelicals Theology.
Revival Sunday –John The Baptist ACK- Nairobi Diocese 12th March 5 Souls came to the Lord
Kairos Training 13th March Meeting with Chris Britain – Kairos Team
Kairos Training planning in Thika Diocese 29th  March Met with the Provost of Thika Diocese and Kairos representative to plan for the Kairos training within the Diocese.
St. Elizabeth Kahawa West- Sunday Ministry-Nairobi Diocese 2nd April The Students ministered in all the local churches within the parish- hosted by Rev. Capt. Kamama
St.Paul’s Athi River (Machakos Diocese) 20th-23rd  April 12 lives came to the Lord and many were delivered.
Marsabit  Mission- Marsabit Diocese-By CAA Staff 4th-7th  May 2017 36 lives saved; and a Church in Kituruni opened by the Diocesan Bishop.
Attend International Discipleship- GS to travel 4th -7th  May Successfully done.

On 22 -26th May, 2017 the School of Mission (SOM) Students had a seminar populary known as LIFT (Leaders in Further Training) and our Partners from the UK, Rev. Peter Breckwoldt and Rev. Andrew Bourne took them through series on preaching from the Gospels. Rev. Peter Breckwoldt and Rev. Andrew Bourne have been visiting Carlile once every year. Rev. Andrew Bourne first came in February 2009 and Rev. Peter Breckwoldt followed in 2014. Since then Rev. Peter Breckwoldt and Rev. Andrew Bourne have been regular visitors and a blessing to the school of mission students.

Just to let you know that i will be visiting the UK in June between 8 - 19 to share at the AMADET tea Fellowship on what the Lord is doing at Church Army - Carlile College.
