The Department of Technical Studies trains Electrical Engineering related courses both long term and short term.
The Diploma Course is divided into 3 modules (1 year each Module) and only on completion of all the 3 modules does one receive a Diploma in Electrical Electronic Engineering certification. After each module a student receives a Transcript from KNEC for that particular module. The Craft certificate comprises of two modules.
We train Trade Test, Artisan, certificate, Diploma as well as Higher Diploma courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The department has equipped Electrical workshop, whereby our students carry out practical sessions.
Our projected focus is to expand the training and offer Building and construction as well as Automotive engineering courses.
